Yesterday I discovered version 1 of BuddyPress, a WordPress MU (multi user) plugin that takes WordPress another step forward. It produces a social network which, with other plugins that are already being developed something close to Facebook, My Space, etc. Your friends are already on Facebook so this will not replace it, but could be fun and more personal.
